Our next donation will be to Precision Grading based in Saluda, NC. Jake has been working everyday since the storm and has helped many folks around Green River Gorge and other areas at ZERO cost to them.
From Jake’s November 1, 2024 Facebook post, he is coordinating with Green Riverkeeper and NC Wildlife Resource Commission on his river work.
Friday, day 36 of straight getting it.
Today we worked the river hard, as well as the riverbanks.Lots of homes, septic tanks, concrete, and everything else you could imagine, removed from the beautiful Green River. The pictures explain today better so take a look!I’m taking the weekend off, so I can try and get some rest and spend some much needed quality time away with my beautiful daughter. Today was my 40th day in a row of work with no time off. Not complaining, so don’t get me wrong, I just need a little break.
See y’all Monday. Much love
Below is from Jake’s October 15, 2024 Facebook post if you would like to support him directly.
Here’s what I’ve come up with:I’ll accept donations and only put any money donated towards future work. The 16 days I already gave are my initial donation to the community. Also any money raised will provide those in need with my work at my daily rate per the machine I’m using, and I will match the donations with additional days or time of at least equal amounts. Meaning I’ll be glad to work at half rate essentially. I’ll also donate more time as much as I possibly can!
Here’s my Venmo as so many have asked:@Jake-Jarvis-13When it asks for the last 4 of my phone number to make sure it’s me, please use 0017 as there is now a scammer out there! If you would like to mail a donation:Precision Grading99 Polaris DriveSaluda NC 28773
I will update this post with image of the donation we make to Precision Grading asap.
