Our donation, thank you for your support, was mailed to Precision Grading based in Saluda, NC today (Saturday 11/09/24). Jake has been working ever single day since the storm (except one-day to get some much needed rest) and has helped many folks around Green River Gorge and other areas at ZERO cost to them.

Jake puts daily updates on his business Facebook page, his November 8th update.

A very long day Friday.
Today is 6 weeks of hard pushing and helping.
I started by moving the dozer up to the landslide road in Laurel Park. Ended up being very productive and accomplished a lot. Pushed lots of boulders in and shot rock. Attacked the second slide as well and was able to push a road through. Then pushed a second lower road for access and building it back. Successful!
I then moved the CAT to the Pearson Falls area to get an early start on the weekend. Lots of homes with no access still, some completely washed away, and some in need of demolition….
Could definitely use volunteers for the weekend. So many in need, and lots of projects to complete. Gonna be a long weekend for sure.
Love y’all
