As of today we technically don’t make or sell stickers, by definition we make decals. We use premium grade adhesive vinyl and laminates in our production process. The Arlon™, Avery™, and General Formulations™ vinyl products that we use are called also intermediate Car Wrap vinyl. Definitely designed for full sun and outdoor weather.

Most people call them “Stickers”, so for now, we will also call them that in our product descriptions. Just know it is the GOOD STUFF!

DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS:
The key difference between a sticker and a decal lies in their intended use, material, and durability:

Sticker:

  • Material: Typically made from paper or vinyl, stickers are often smaller and can come with a gloss or matte finish.
  • Purpose: Stickers are usually meant for decoration or branding on various surfaces like notebooks, laptops, or water bottles.
  • Durability: While stickers can be durable, they generally don’t last as long as decals, especially in outdoor environments.
  • Application: They are easy to peel and stick, with no specific application process required

Decal:

  • Material: Decals are made using vinyl and UV laminated (gloss or matte) to withstand outdoor conditions
  • Purpose: Decals are typically larger and more durable, used for applications like car windows, walls, or storefronts.
  • Durability: They are designed to last longer and are resistant to weather, sunlight, and other outdoor elements.
  • Application: Large decals or multi-section decals may require a more precise application process, sometimes involving the use of transfer paper or tools to ensure proper placement and smoothness.

Overall, stickers are more casual, smaller, and often for personal items, while decals are much more durable, larger, and intended for outdoor or professional use.
